You have to learn his name!

Vahan Bichakhchyan
Wahan Biczachczjan made his dream debut in the Polish league called Ekstraklasa, scoring a goal for his new club — Pogoń Szczecin. In the winter transfer window, he was bought from the Slovak club MSK Zilina for, according to Polish media, EUR 900,000, which is a considerable sum for a player imported to the Polish league.

On Saturday, in the first game, his team played away with Piast Gliwice. Bichakhchjan entered the field in the 77th minute, when Pogoń was leading 1-0 and after just five minutes he scored a goal, setting the result of the match at 2: 0! He started the action of own half of the pitch of his team, to then finishing it and sent the ball  to the net being five meters before the goal.

He was praised for his performance. The only problem is his… surname, a bit difficult to pronounce for Poles. TVP television expert, former Polish national team player Sebastian Mila, joked:
— You have to learn his name! I will repeat it to myself every day before going to sleep.

After this victory, Pogoń strengthened in second place in the table. He has 40 points, one less than the leader of Lech Poznań, which, however, has one game less, which will be played on Sunday. Pogoń’s coach, Kosta Runjaic, announced before the spring part of the season that his team’s goal would be fighting for the Polish championship.
